Supply Chain Operations Manager
Manufacturing - Manufacturing Production Port Elizabeth FULL TIME Job Summary Minimum Requirements: * Relevant Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years' experience in a supply chain, operations, or logistics leadership role. * Proven experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, distribution, or production-driven environment. * Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and operational planning. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. * Experience analysing operational data and implementing process improvements. * Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. * Sound commercial and analytical acumen. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Operations: * Coordinate and optimise end-to-end supply chain activities to support operational objectives. * Monitor and improve the flow of materials, finished goods, and inventory across the business. * Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency and service delivery. * Drive initiatives aimed at reducing operational costs while maintaining service standards. Inventory and Warehouse Management: * Oversee inventory control processes to ensure stock accuracy and availability. * Ensure effective warehouse operations, including storage, replenishment, and stock rotation. * Monitor inventory performance and implement corrective actions where required. * Drive best practices relating to stock management and inventory optimisation. Operational Planning and Performance: * Support demand planning and operational scheduling processes. * Monitor operational performance against established KPIs. * Analyse operational trends and provide recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency. * Develop reporting frameworks to support informed decision-making.
