Engineering - Industrial Engineering Midrand FULL TIME Job Summary Key Responsibilities * Release new products into manufacturing and ensure manufacturing readiness. * Work closely with R&D teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability. * Evaluate, improve, and re-engineer business and manufacturing processes. * Develop, configure, test, and implement workflows within ERP and other business systems. * Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure accurate ERP updates. * Compile production part lists to support manufacturing schedules. * Support the development and sourcing of local and outstanding components. * Manage engineering change control processes and product lifecycle data. * Develop and implement process controls to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize process variation. * Support business improvement projects, including feasibility studies, process analysis, modelling, and solution implementation. * Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related system issues and support system enhancements. * Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, Stores, Finance, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure seamless project execution. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * 3-5 years' experience in a similar engineering role. * 2-3 years' experience in Configuration Management. * Experience with ERP systems, preferably SYSPRO. * Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), BOM management, and Engineering Change Control processes. * Proficiency in software and tools such as ERP systems, CAD, Excel, MATLAB, Python, and Six Sigma methodologies. * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial engineering principles, and process optimization.
