Trade/Artisans/Technical - Trade/Artisan/Technical Management Pinetown FULL TIME R336 000,00 - R384 000,00 (PER YEAR) Approx Monthly Salary: R28 000,00 - R32 000,00 Job Summary What You'll Be Doing * Designing and manufacturing precision press tools, dies, punches, jigs and fixtures * Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications * Working with CAD software such as Mastercam and/or SolidWorks * Operating CNC machines, wire EDM, spark erosion equipment, conventional lathes and milling machines * Modifying, repairing and maintaining production tooling to maximise uptime and efficiency * Troubleshooting tooling-related production challenges * Selecting appropriate materials and manufacturing methods * Collaborating closely with engineering and production teams * Maintaining toolroom standards, documentation and safety practices What We're Looking For * Trade Certificate in Toolmaking * Proven experience in press toolmaking and tool maintenance * Strong CAD proficiency, ideally with Mastercam and/or SolidWorks * Demonstrated experience with CNC machining, wire EDM, spark erosion and conventional machining * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately * Exceptional problem-solving and analytical ability * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Why This Role?
