The company provides technology consulting, managed IT services, software development, cybersecurity, and telecommunications solutions to businesses. Purpose of the role: Lead the Software Engineering Function, defining the engineering strategy, operating model, governance and technology roadmap to deliver secure, scalable and high-quality enterprise software solutions that support business growth and digital transformation. Responsibilities: * Define and execute the Software Engineering strategy and roadmap. * Build, lead, and mentor high-performing Software Engineering teams. * Establish and enforce engineering standards, governance, and best practices. * Drive the adoption of Agile, DevSecOps, and modern software engineering methodologies. * Oversee the development, delivery, and maintenance of enterprise applications. * Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to deliver business objectives. * Manage engineering budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic technology initiatives. * Coach, mentor, and develop engineering leaders to strengthen leadership capability across the organisation. Requirements: * 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering. * 5+ years of experience leading enterprise Software Engineering teams. * Strong knowledge of modern software architecture and engineering best practices. * Experience with cloud-native application development using Azure and/or AWS. * Proven expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile at Scale methodologies. * Solid understanding of engineering governance, quality assurance, and software delivery standards. * Demonstrated ability to manage and engage executive-level stakeholders. * Experience leading enterprise-wide technology transformation initiative Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
