The programme forms part of the municipality’s efforts to strengthen capacity building and provide support to local municipalities within the Sarah Baartman District. Funding has been allocated to give unemployed graduates practical workplace training, relevant skills and professional experience in infrastructure development and community services. The internship is aimed at unemployed graduates from historically disadvantaged backgrounds. Applicants must strictly reside within one of the following local municipalities: * Dr Beyers Naudé Local Municipality * Blue Crane Route Local Municipality * Kouga Local Municipality * Koukamma Local Municipality * Makana Local Municipality * Ndlambe Local Municipality * Sundays River Valley Local Municipality Applicants who do not reside in one of the listed municipalities may not be considered. Minimum Qualification Requirements Applicants must have completed one of the following qualifications: * BTech in Civil Engineering * Degree in Civil Engineering Candidates should provide certified copies of their academic qualifications when submitting their applications.
