Creditors Manager
Finance/Accounting - Finance/Accounting Management Gauteng FULL TIME Job Summary What You'll Be Doing As the Creditors Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire creditors function, ensuring suppliers and subcontractors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities ✅ Manage and oversee the accounts payable (creditors) function. ✅ Review, approve, and authorize creditor reconciliations. ✅ Ensure supplier and subcontractor payments are processed accurately and within agreed terms. ✅ Maintain strong internal controls and creditor management processes. ✅ Manage the procure-to-pay cycle and creditor conversion process. ✅ Prepare and deliver month-end reporting and cash flow information. ✅ Support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness. ✅ Review aged payables and resolve outstanding creditor queries. ✅ Maintain and oversee the creditors database, including new credit applications. ✅ Review contract changes and supplier agreements for management approval. ✅ Build and maintain strong supplier relationships. ✅ Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the creditors team. ✅ Drive compliance with company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct. ✅ Support business projects and additional finance initiatives when required. What We're Looking For Qualifications * Grade 12 / Matric. * Relevant Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Experience * Minimum 5 years' experience in a Creditors Supervisor, Accounts Payable Supervisor, or similar role. * Proven experience managing a creditors book exceeding R56 million. * Experience leading and managing medium to large teams. * Exposure to Freightware Costing, MX, or similar systems will be advantageous. Technical Skills * Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency. * Knowledge of Pastel Evolution. * Understanding of accounts payable best practices and financial controls. * Strong reporting and cash flow management capability.
