Engineering - Mechanical Engineering Midrand FULL TIME Job Summary Key Responsibilities: * Lead all manufacturing and operational activities to achieve production, quality, safety, and profitability targets. * Develop and execute operational strategies that improve productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. * Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and cost optimisation across multiple production facilities. * Oversee production planning, supply chain collaboration, financial performance, and operational compliance. * Lead and develop Business Unit and Operations Managers, fostering a high-performance culture. * Ensure compliance with SHEQ, ISO 9001, OHS legislation, and company governance standards. * Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and service providers. * Deliver strategic reporting and operational performance insights to executive leadership. Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Production, Operations Management, or a related field. * MBA, MBL, or Executive Development Programme qualification will be advantageous. * Minimum 10 years' manufacturing experience, including 8 years in senior production and operations management. * Proven experience in the precast concrete, paving, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing sector. * Strong commercial, financial, and strategic leadership capability. * Sound knowledge of production planning, supply chain, procurement, continuous improvement, and people management. * Experience with ERP systems (JDE/SAP advantageous). * Valid South African driver's licence.
