Actuarial Quantitative Analyst

What You'll Be Doing: * Assist with actuarial modelling, valuations, and quantitative analysis. * Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities. * Build and enhance predictive models using Machine Learning techniques. * Support the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions. * Work with chatbot and conversational AI technologies to improve customer experiences and business processes. * Develop analytical models that support strategic decision-making. * Prepare reports and present insights to key stakeholders. * Assist with financial, regulatory, and business reporting. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on innovative data-driven projects. Requirements: Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline. * Honours degree is essential. * Master's degree will be highly advantageous. Experience: * 0–1 year of actuarial, quantitative, analytics, or data science experience. * Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Skills & Qualifications: * Minimum 4–5 completed actuarial examinations. * Outstanding academic record from a reputable university. * Graduated Cum Laude (highly advantageous). * Genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and emerging technologies. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Exposure to Python, R, SQL, SAS, or similar analytical tools will be advantageous. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Based in Johannesburg or willing to relocate. * Comfortable working in a fully office-based environment.
