Solar Support Field Technician
Trade/Artisans/Technical - Other Technical Gauteng FULL TIME Job Summary Requirements: * Experience in a technical or field support role. * Knowledge of solar and inverter systems. * Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. * Basic networking knowledge. * Experience with Sunsynk, Deye, Victron, Solis, or Huawei systems. * Solar PV certifications. * Experience with lithium batteries and monitoring platforms. * Valid driver’s license and reliable transport. Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot solar, inverter, electrical, and network issues. * Perform installations, replacements, and maintenance of solar systems. * Electrical equipment replacement (AC/DC breakers, AC/DC SPD, DC fuses). * Configure and commission systems. * Conduct site inspections and quality checks. * Monitor system performance and perform firmware updates where needed. * Log and manage support tickets using Zoho CRM. * Maintain strong communication with customers and suppliers. * RMA testing.
