Erecting Machine Technician
Engineering - Engineering Management Port Elizabeth FULL TIME Job Summary Requirements: * Matric (Grade 12) * 3–5 years' technical and/or agricultural experience repairing and servicing machines * Experience working with different carton erecting machines * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Excellent attention to detail * Valid Code 8 driver's licence * Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) * Good organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills * Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels * Willingness to travel extensively * Available to work after hours, overtime, and weekends when required * Self-motivated, proactive, goal-orientated, and a strong team player Responsibilities: * Service, maintain, and repair carton erecting machines at various customer sites * Perform planned and preventative maintenance to minimise machine downtime * Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on erecting machines * Attend customer call-outs and pack house visits as required * Ensure all work complies with safety, health, environmental, and housekeeping standards * Represent the company professionally while providing technical support to customers * Maintain company equipment and vehicle in a safe and professional manner * Deliver high-quality customer service and technical assistance Please note that if you do not receive a response within 2 weeks of the closing date, your application has been unsuccessful.
