Automotive - Automotive Management Port Elizabeth FULL TIME Job Summary Requirements: * Red seal qualified artisan – either Mechanical or Electrical trade essential * National diploma qualification advantageous * Supervisory qualification advantageous * 10 years in the Automotive/Manufacturing environment * Experience with all Machinery in an automotive component manufacturing plant * Energy saving technologies * Problem solving ability by means of 5 Why, Fishbone or SWOT Analysing * Electrical and compressed air equipment * Thorough knowledge of OHS Act, ISO 50001 & IATF16949 * Proficient in computer usage ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CMMS, Asset management systems) * Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic system & fault finding experience Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): * Responsible and Accountable for the day-to-day running of the maintenance department * Ensure the availability of equipment for the production plan requirements * Ensure the availability of all site services in conjunction with the Maintenance Superintendent and Maintenance Planner * Responsible & accountable for keeping up to date of critical spares list in the wheel making area. * Ability to adapt and overcome any maintenance constrains which may arise. * Responsible and accountable for the control of the maintenance budget in the production area. * You are required to collaborate with production department to identify, define and solve problems * Assist the maintenance department to manage the plant energy footprint * Suggestion and implementation of energy saving initiatives * You are required to provide assistance to maintenance team 24 hours a day * Participate in internal and external audits Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
