Chemical Sales Executive - Durban
IT/Computer - IT Sales Durban FULL TIME Job Summary Requirements: * Grade 12 / Matric * Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related field advantageous * Minimum 5 years’ proven external sales experience * Extensive experience within the chemicals industry is non-negotiable * Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and negotiation techniques * Valid driver’s licence * Own reliable transport * Proficient in MS Office * Experience working with CRM and BRM systems advantageous * Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills * Target-driven with strong organisational and time management ability Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development * Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory * Identify and secure new business opportunities * Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers * Present, promote, and sell products and services to prospective and existing clients * Conduct customer needs analysis and provide suitable solutions * Achieve monthly sales targets and performance objectives * Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements Client Relationship Management * Build and maintain long-term customer relationships * Serve as the key communication link between customers and internal departments * Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction * Resolve customer queries, complaints, and concerns efficiently * Continuously identify opportunities to upsell and expand accounts Reporting and Administration * Maintain accurate sales records and CRM updates * Submit weekly and monthly sales reports * Track pipeline activity and territory performance * Prepare quotations, presentations, and sales proposals * Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and support Market and Product Knowledge * Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market developments * Continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques * Attend meetings, training sessions, and industry events where required Please note that should you not receive a response withing Two weeks of applying, you may consider your application unsuccessful.
