Job Summary
Responsibilities:
* Managing the shop to ensure that all tasks are completed within time and to the highest standard
* Building and maintaining long term customer relationships by being approachable and friendly, and by providing accurate product information
* Upholding the company’s brand, values and ethics at all times
* Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and projects of all kinds
* Providing administrative support and reporting directly to the Manager
* Managing and reconciling transactions in Xero
* Purchasing, testing and selling precious metals, bullion and diamonds
* Managing Petty Cash
* Maintaining daily stock sheets and end-of-day cash-ups
* Doing adjustments of all purchased items when needed
* Ensuring the store upholds brand expectations and standards, and is presentable, immaculate and customer ready at all times
* Driving sales to increase profitability and customer bases, by initiating marketing ideas and brand promotions – always striving to achieve monthly targets for the entire team
* Ensuring stock inventory and Petty Cash on POS is correct, and that all sales and purchase documents are uploaded along with all the required supporting documents
* Diligently verifying all clients as prescribed by the company’s RMCP
* Timeously attending to social media leads, as well as queries, and following up in a friendly and professional manner
* Timeously attending to emails and queries and following up with clients in a friendly and professional manner
* Being accountable for mistakes

* This is a fast paced and high-pressure environment - detail orientation and multitasking is a requirement
Requirements:
* Willingness to work overtime
* Must be able to work Saturdays from 09:00 – 13:00
* Minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics
* Retail sales background (luxury goods or jewellery preferred)
* Fluent in Afrikaans and English
