Job Summary
Minimum Requirements:
* 1–3 years’ experience in a professional, high-volume kitchen.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and organized approach.
* Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Solid understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
* Creative mindset with a passion for culinary excellence.
* Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and shifts as required.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the restaurant’s fine-dining standards.
* Support the Chef de Partie and senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
* Ensure all ingredients are prepped, portioned, and stored correctly.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times.
* Follow recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
* Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and basic ordering processes.
* Monitor food quality and report any issues to senior chefs.
* Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Assist during service to ensure timely and efficient dish execution.
* Continuously learn and develop culinary skills under guidance from senior team members.
