Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with industry standards, driving Occupational Health & Safety requirements, and ensuring consistent 5S and housekeeping discipline across all operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring audit readiness and operational compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Management
* Ensure compliance with SMETA, NTBC, Bargaining Council, and customer requirements
* Conduct audits and inspections across CMT suppliers and production sites
* Manage non-conformances and ensure timely corrective actions
* Maintain accurate, audit-ready compliance documentation and records
Health & Safety
* Implement and monitor Occupational Health & Safety compliance across all sites
* Maintain risk assessments, legal appointments, and safety documentation
* Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action tracking
* Coordinate Health & Safety committee activities and safety drills
* Liaise with auditors, inspectors, and external service providers
Housekeeping & 5S
* Drive and enforce housekeeping and 5S standards across production areas
* Ensure clean, safe, and organised working environments
* Implement waste, dust, and material control measures
* Promote continuous improvement in workplace discipline and safety
Minimum Requirements
* Relevant qualification in Compliance, Occupational Health & Safety, or Operations
* 3–5 years’ experience in a Textile / Clothing Manufacturing environment (non-negotiable)
* Proven experience with SMETA audits and CMT compliance
* Strong understanding of OHS legislation and risk management principles
* Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills
