IT/Computer - Other IT/Computer Western Cape FULL TIME R600 000,00 - R800 000,00 (PER MONTH) Job Summary Job Description: * Lead development of high-level MEP BIM models in Autodesk Revit * Drive coordination across HVAC, fire protection, and wet services disciplines * Perform advanced clash detection and coordination using Navisworks * Ensure models meet BIM execution plans, standards, and project requirements * Produce coordinated layouts and construction-ready documentation * Manage Revit families, templates, and modelling standards * Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and contractors * Validate models for constructability and compliance * Support quantity extraction and design coordination workflows * Mentor junior modellers and elevate overall BIM delivery quality Skills & Experience: * Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in MEP BIM / Revit modelling * Advanced Autodesk Revit skills within MEP disciplines * Strong Navisworks coordination and clash detection experience * Deep understanding of HVAC, fire, and wet services systems * Experience working on complex commercial, healthcare, or industrial projects * Strong coordination instincts and problem-solving ability * Confidence mentoring junior team members * Excellent attention to detail and delivery ownership Bonus advantages: * Exposure to international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.) * Experience with HVAC calculation tools such as Carrier HAP * Strong knowledge of local building compliance requirements Qualification: * National Diploma or B-Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering * BIM / Revit training or certifications beneficial Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered   Contact MALIEKA DAWOOD on 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTE027952.   Connect with us on www.communicate.co.za and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Engineering recruitment vacancies.   Let us assist you with your career.
