Employer: Humanatics (Pty) Ltd We are seeking an experienced and professional Pharmacist Locum to support the safe, effective, and compliant operation of our client - a retail pharmacy. The successful candidate shall perform all duties within the legal scope of a practising pharmacist, ensuring ethical dispensing, patient care, and adherence to Good Pharmacy Practice. Key responsibilities shall include, but not to be treated as an exhaustive list: * Dispense prescription and non‑prescription medication in compliance with legal and professional standards. * Interpret, evaluate, and validate prescriptions issued by registered medical practitioners. * Provide professional advice to patients and make appropriate referrals where required. * Supervise pharmacy interns and assistants, including checking and signing off prescriptions prior to dispensing. * Manage dispensary operations collaboratively with other pharmacists on duty. * Ensure correct handling of Schedule 6 substances. * Participate in dispensary stock management and pharmacy stock takes. * Maintain compliance with SOPs, safety policies, and regulatory requirements. * Ensure continuity of safe pharmacy operations during periods of absence of the Responsible Pharmacist.
