Employer: RPO Recruitment RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading materials and infrastructure company is seeking an experienced Asphalt Branch Manager to oversee full operational, technical, and commercial performance of its production facility in Bloemfontein. Key Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day plant operations to ensure efficient, high-quality asphalt production * Drive continuous improvement of production systems, processes, and operational policies * Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programmes to maximise plant uptime * Ensure effective spares control, inventory management, and logistics coordination * Plan production in line with sales forecasts and customer demand * Support budgeting, cost control, and operational performance tracking * Manage dispatch and delivery logistics to ensure on-time product supply * Lead, develop, and mentor production, maintenance, and logistics teams * Promote a strong safety, quality, and performance-driven culture * Build and maintain strong customer relationships and service levels Requirements: * Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering, or related field * Additional business or operations management qualification advantageous * 8–10 years’ manufacturing/production experience, with at least 3 years in a management role * Strong background in plant operations and mechanical maintenance * Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, and production planning * Solid understanding of asphalt plant operations and manufacturing processes * Knowledge of QA/QC systems, maintenance planning, and HSE standards * Strong leadership and team management capability * Computer literate (MS Office) with exposure to operational systems * Valid driver’s licence and own transport * Willingness to relocate on short notice * Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills * Hands-on, proactive leadership style with ability to perform under pressure Benefits: Salary:  R550K – R650K CTC per annum Contact RPO Recruitment for our next career opportunity. * Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience. * Apply for this role today, contact Meghan du Plessis and Riana Hattingh at RPO Recruitment or on LinkedIn * You can also visit the RPO Recruitment website: rporecruitment.us or email us your CV: Engineers@rpo-recruit.za.com We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
