Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Administration:
* Capture daily financial transactions.
* Maintain accurate financial records.
* Assist with preparing financial reports.
* Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
Accounts Receivable:
* Generate invoices for clients.
* Follow up on outstanding payments.
* Record payments received from customers.
* Maintain proper client account records.
Accounts Payable:
* Capture supplier invoices.
* Assist with processing supplier payments.
* Maintain supplier accounts and payment schedules.
Cash and Transaction Management:
* Record daily cash and electronic transactions.
* Reconcile cash, EFT, and card payments.
* Assist with petty cash management.
Documentation and Filing:
* Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
* Organize invoices, receipts, and payment records.
* Ensure financial documents are easily accessible for audits.
Support Business Operations:
* Work with the printing production team to track job costing.
* Assist in monitoring expenses related to printing materials.
* Support management with financial data when needed.
Minimum Requirements
* South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
* Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
* Matric.
* Completed Diploma in Finance/BCom Accounting degree.
* No prior work experience required.
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
* Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, accounting systems advantageous).
* Professional attitude and willingness to learn.
