Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end experience of group bookings, ensuring seamless coordination from arrival at the airport through to departure. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for group guests, delivering exceptional service while coordinating logistics across multiple departments. This is a hands-on, operational role requiring strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
Core Criteria:
* Previous experience in a Guest Relations, GRO, or similar role
* Strong understanding of hospitality operations, ideally within a luxury lodge environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Fully computer literate (MS Office, PMS, etc)
* Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment
* Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to guest service
Core Responsibilities:
* Act as the main point of contact for group bookings from arrival to departure
* Meet and assist groups at the airport and/or lodge
* Coordinate all group logistics, including transfers, activities, and dining
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of group itineraries
* Manage guest expectations and ensure a high level of service delivery
* Handle guest queries, requests, and any issues that may arise
* Ensure all group requirements and preferences are communicated in advance
* Oversee group check-in and check-out processes
* Monitor the overall guest experience and service standards
* Maintain accurate records of group details and movements
* Provide feedback on group experiences and operational improvements
