Job Summary
About the role To provide basic administrative support to the workshop team, assisting with documentation, data capturing, and coordination activities to ensure smooth workshop operations.
Responsibilities:
* Capture job cards, service records, and workshop documentation.
* File and maintain service and repair records (manual and electronic).
* Assist with booking jobs and tracking job status.
* Support workshop supervisors with basic admin tasks.
* Answer internal calls and assist with queries.
* Assist with stock or parts-related paperwork (where required).
* General office administration and housekeeping duties.
Minimum Requirements
* South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
* Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
* Matric.
* Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
* Good attention to detail.
Advantageous
* Previous admin exposure (workplace, internship, or learnership).
* Exposure to a technical, workshop, or service environment.
Key Competencies
* Organised and methodical.
* Willingness to learn.
* Reliable and punctual.
* Able to work in a structured environment.
