We are seeking the services of an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Noordhoek Manor.
As a key member of the nursing team, you will report to the Senior Shift Leader and be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, ensuring patients receive excellent clinical support throughout their recovery journey. You will work within a well-supported environment alongside a dedicated nursing and carer team, engaged management, and aligned healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:Clinical Tasks:
* Develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient
* Regularly review and update care plans based on changing clinical needs
* Ensure care aligns with both medical and personal patient requirements
* Monitor staff compliance with care plans and clinical protocols
* Conduct high-risk assessments and maintain accurate documentation
* Uphold best clinical practices at all times
* Ensure safe and correct administration of medication
* Manage medication storage and control processes
* Implement and maintain infection control protocols where required
* Manage stock levels and ensure adequate medical supplies
Emergency and Incident Management:
* Respond to emergencies in line with established protocols
* Escalate to emergency services when required
* Act in accordance with patient directives (e.g. living wills)
* Communicate incidents or patient status changes to MDT and families
Requirements:
Qualifications:
* SANC registered as a Registered Nurse.
* Up-to-date Basic Life Support certification is advantageous.
Experience and Knowledge:
* Proven experience as a Registered Nurse
* Knowledge of dementia care, frail care, and palliative care beneficial
Skills and Attributes:
* Strong clinical and patient care skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Sound judgement and problem-solving ability
* Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies
* Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
* Good time management and organisational skills

Working Hours:
* Normal working days are Monday to Sunday.
* You will be required to work 16.25 shifts per month.
* 06h30 - 18h30
