IT/Computer - Other IT/Computer Johannesburg FULL TIME Job Summary Junior Development Manager/Design Architect (JHB) Engineering/Technical ~ Product/Project management Johannesburg - Gauteng - South Africa ENVIRONMENT: A dynamic Property Group seeks an ambitious, vibrant and energetic individual who has in interest in the Property Industry, to join its Joburg team as a full time Junior Development Manager/Design Architect. The Group excels in Property Management and Development across Commercial, Residential, and Student Portfolios. Your role will include supporting Project teams in developing concepts and detailed design solutions, assisting in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and presentations while participating in site visits & inspections and ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will require a Masters/Bachelors in Architecture or Architectural Technology with 2-3 years experience post-registration experience in Architecture, have proficiency with Revit software and be registered with SACAP as a Candidate or Professional Architect. DUTIES: * Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and presentations. * Support Project teams in developing concepts and detailed design solutions. * Participate in site visits, inspections and meetings with contractors. * Prepare documentation for council submissions and approvals. * Collaborate with consultants, contractors and internal teams throughout project phases. * Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. * Stay current with industry trends, materials and technologies. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications * Masters and/or Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology. Experience/Skills - * 2-3 Years experience post-registration experience in Architecture. * Registered with SACAP as a Candidate or Professional Architect. * Proficiency in architectural software (Revit software is essential). * Strong technical and problem-solving skills. * Strong design sensibility and attention to detail. * Technical Knowledge - expertise in building products, construction details, and relevant rules and quality standards. * Own transportation. * Proficient in English.
