Employer: Placement Point (Pty) Ltd A well established Telecommunications company is looking for a Project Manager/Site Supervisorbased in the Randburg area. Responsibilities: ·       Run day‑to‑day fibre rollout work, from trenching and duct laying to blowing, splicing and final handover ·       Plan the route, check the ground conditions and make sure the team follows wayleave rules and municipal requirements ·       Supervise civil crews doing trenching, digging, duct installation, manholes and reinstatement ·       Keep the project on track by managing timelines, solving on‑site issues and coordinating with engineers, planners and subcontractors ·       Make sure all safety rules are followed, including PPE, risk checks and safe digging practices ·       Manage materials, equipment and site logistics so the teams can work without delays ·       Check trench depth, bedding, duct placement and backfilling to ensure the work meets technical standards ·       Deal with local authorities, landowners and communities to secure access and avoid disruptions ·       Keep daily site records, progress updates, photos and as‑built information accurate and up to date ·       Oversee fibre blowing, testing and sign‑off to ensure the network is ready for activation ·       Monitor subcontractor performance and verify completed work before approving claims ·       Flag risks early, adjust plans where needed and keep the project within budget and scope Computer Systems: MS, Excell, Projects
