Summary purpose/expectations:
The purpose of the role oversees the repair of all jobs coming into the workshop including complete rebuilds of engines and transmissions. Order parts for all jobs and keep up inventory. Schedule all work on machinery and other equipment within the company.
Key Deliverables:
* Front End Loaders, Excavators, ADT’s, Block haulers, Compressors and Generators.
* Manufacturers include, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Iveco, Bell, Doosan.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot TMM equipment issues.
* Offer technical expertise to workshop staff during problem diagnosis and maintenance.
* Plan, organize, and prioritize daily workshop activities and workload.
* Ensure timely and standard completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on TMM equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance done on TMM equipment.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to create a safe working environment for all employees.
* Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
* Ensure all labour is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.
* Coordinate with other departments within the Group to ensure efficient workflow.
* Ensure accurate records of work job cards, parts used, and labour hours.
* Ensure the workshop and machinery are clean, organized, and safe always.
Health and Safety:
* Ensure safety procedures and equipment are maintained.
* Good understanding of the Mine Health and Safety principles and the MHS Act 1996.
* Ensure a health and safe work environment.
* Health and safety responsibilities of workforce.
* Adhere national mining codes and safety regulations.
