Employer: BCE FoodService Equipment We currently have a vacancy for the position of Driver, based in Cape Town. Overall purpose of the job:  Responsible for the delivery of BCE goods in accordance with pre-determined route sheets and pre-planned schedules. The duties will include but will not be limited to: * Operating and maintaining vehicles with a focus on safety and customer service; * Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; * Performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary; * Fuelling the vehicles and ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported; * Delivers goods in accordance with route sheets and pre-planned schedules; * Ensures all POD's are returned for filing and reconciliation purposes; * Ensures goods delivered are the same as goods shown on the delivery notes and queries with dealers are dealt with professionally and/or reported to the Operations Manager; * Keep logs of activities and deliveries Requirements * Grade 12/Matric * 2 years’ experience in a driving related capacity * Unendorsed Code 10 drivers license * PDP * High energy levels * Sober habits * Professional and presentable * Ability to work overtime if required * Punctual, friendly and hard working Skills * Able to work in a team * Excellent command of the English language * Excellent communication skills * Excellent Mathematical and Literacy skills * Attention to detail * Good time management skills * Dependable individual * Ability to interpret maps and route directions
