COST ACCOUNTANT The incumbent forms part of a dynamic financial team and reports directly to the Financial Manager. Work activities, among others, include: * ongoing maintenance and generating of new “Bill of Materials” (BoM’s) * analysis of gross profit margins * data collection, analysis and reporting of the cost drivers in the production process * annual price increase calculations and preparation of price lists * preparation of annual budget for sales and purchases of inventory * monthly allocation and management of inventory of clients * preparation of inventory reports and management information * management of inventory counts and analysis of inventory variances * monthly reconciliations and financial closings * standard cost reports and analysis of variances * coordination and management of relevant information, documentation and inquiries * assist with preparation for annual financial audit * liaison with internal and external parties as required
