ENVIRONMENT:
Our client, a leading retailer, is seeking an experienced National Tenders Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end tender process. The role requires a strong understanding of tender requirements and protocols, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders nationwide to secure successful outcomes.
DUTIES:
Tenders and RFQs
+ Act as the primary contact of the business for all matters related to tenders nationally.
+ Ensure timeous and accurate completion of SBD Forms
+ Co-ordinate with regional resources to ensure timeous completion and submission of tenders nationally.
+ Liaise with regional sales departments to ensure accurate and timeous preparation of quotes for submission with completed documents.
+ Ensure tender submissions are complete and all required documents are included in the submission.
+ Ensure that tender and RFQ submission logs are kept up to date for reporting purposes.
+ Review received tender opportunities to identify and remove fraudulent tenders and scams.
Customer Communication
+ Ensuring all tender portals are kept up to date with the correct company details including but not limited to company registration number, VAT number, BBBEE level etc.
+ Liaising with various departments to ensure that updated documentation is received timeously
+ Maintenance of National Contracts folder on shared drive.
Reporting and Administration
+ Extract and distribute CSD Summary Reports monthly
+ Follow up and document outcomes on submitted tenders and RFQs
+ Ensure company documents are kept up to date in a centralised cloud storage facility.
+ Ensure Tender Register is kept up to date with submitted tenders and RFQs and their outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Five years of experience in a similar role.
* Deep understanding of Tenders Processes
* High Attention to Detail
* Excellent Deadline Management Skills
* Highly professional with excellent communication skills
* Strong MS Office Skills.
