While the role is positioned at a junior level, we are ideally looking for someone who can grow quickly into a Senior Buyer role as they gain experienceThe successful candidate will support the procurement and customer engagement lifecycle by executing purchase orders, tracking material availability, maintaining accurate systems data, and supporting quotation and order fulfilment activities under supervision to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time customer delivery Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement​ * Execute RFQs and purchase orders from MRP, maintain accurate BOMs and stock codes, and track deliveries to ensure material availability for production​ * Expedite late components, prepare shortage and supplier comparison reports, and escalate supply risks to senior buyers​ * Support inventory control through cycle counts, excess stock identification, and basic stock optimisation activities Customer Management​ * Log RFQs, collect and validate customer data packs, and maintain accurate quotation and order records * Support costing and quotation preparation by gathering supplier pricing and populating costing templates The ideal candidate will have: * Strong analytical and problem-solving ability * High attention to detail * Good commercial thinking * A proactive, results-driven mindset * The ambition to grow into a more senior procurement role over time This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, technology-focused environment where you can make a real impact and grow with the business.
