IT/Computer - Other IT/Computer Cape Town FULL TIME Job Summary Audio Visual Support Engineer (CPT) IT - Support Cape Town - Western Cape - South Africa ENVIRONMENT: ENSURE the seamless functioning and maintenance of communication & collaboration tools in the Cape Town offices of an innovative Independent Asset Management Firm seeking a strong technical Audio Visual Support Engineer. You will manage and maintain AV systems for meeting rooms, event spaces, and hybrid work environmentsenabling smooth and high-quality experiences for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will require 5+ years hands-on AV Support experience in a corporate and/or live event environment including managing high-priority and executive meetings and events & proficiency with MS Teams Rooms, Crestron, QSC, Shure, Dante, and audio/video conferencing systems. DUTIES: * Support the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV systems for internal and client meetings and events in the Cape Town office. * Ensure all AV systems are fully tested, configured, and operational before and during use. * Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues with AV hardware and software. * Collaborate with colleagues across IT, Facilities, and Event teams to ensure global AV standards are upheld. * Provide user training and guidance to improve adoption and self-service in AV-enabled spaces. * Support the deployment and configuration of new AV technologies and contribute to long-term AV strategy. REQUIREMENTS: * 5+ Years of hands-on AV Support experience in a corporate and/or live event environments. * Technical knowledge of MS Teams Rooms, Crestron, QSC, Shure, Dante, and audio/video conferencing systems. * Experience managing high-priority and executive meetings and events. * Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. * Experience working closely with vendors and third-party Technicians. * An adaptable and collaborative mindset with the ability to support evolving AV needs.
