Job Summary

* Knowledge of cleaning agents: Understanding how to use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
Working Conditions:
* May require standing for extended periods
* Cleaning tasks involve physical activity
* Availability to work from 07h15 – 16h15
* Role may include early morning or late afternoons (will be notified beforehand)
* Uniform dress code
Responsibilities: Reception Duties
* Greet visitors professionally and courteously
* Ensure visitors, vendors and clients are signed in as per the security protocols
* Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and queries to relevant staff
* Handle deliveries and courier services with receiving deliveries/ picking up parcels from the company
* Assist with meeting room bookings and prepare rooms as required
* Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean, organised, and presentable always
* Available when catering delivers the lunch and service providers delivers orders
* Accompany Berco on their weekly plant watering rotations
Beverage Hostess duties
* Set up refreshments for boardroom events as required
* Prepare and serve beverages (tea, coffee, water, ) to employees, guests, and meeting attendees
* Ensure all beverage stations are fully stocked, clean, and ready for use throughout the day
* Setup kitchen before lunch
Cleaning duties
* Clean reception, offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, and restrooms
* Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure usage follows safety standards
* Report maintenance issues and follow health and safety regulations
* Refill supplies (toilet paper, soap, hand towels, kitchen items)
* Daily cleaning: vacuuming carpets, mopping/sweeping floors, dusting furniture, wiping down desks, and cleaning glass doors/mirrors
* Restroom & kitchen hygiene: Sanitizing toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops
* Cleaning kitchen appliances (microwaves, fridge, coffee machines, etc)
* Washing cutlery and dishes after lunch and keep kitchen clean throughout the day
* Waste disposal: emptying trash and replacing liners in all office areas/shredder
