Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping
* Capture and maintain accurate financial records up to trial balance
* Process accounts payable and receivable
* Perform bank reconciliations and cash up
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Stock Management
* Monitor and maintain accurate stock records
* Perform regular stock reconciliations and variance analysis
* Coordinate stock takes and investigate discrepancies
* Work closely with operations to ensure stock accuracy and control
Assistant to Financial Manager
* Provide day-to-day support to the Financial Manager
* Prepare schedules and reports for audits or reviews
* Handle ad hoc financial and administrative tasks
* Ensure compliance with internal processes and controls
Requirements
* Must reside in Somerset West, Strand, or Gordon’s Bay
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a bookkeeping or similar finance role
* Minimum qualification: Financial certificate or equivalent
* Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes
* Experience with Pastel and Microsoft Excel
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
