Required Academic Qualification
* Bachelor's degree / Advanced Diploma / B. Tech degree on NQF level 7 in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
* Project management certification would be an advantage.
Required Experience
* 1 to 2 years' experience in project management or a project coordination/support role, with demonstrable evidence of contributing to successful project delivery in a team environment.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid approaches)
Required Competencies
* Knowledge of project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
* Excellence in stakeholder management and communication
* Risk management and problem-solving capabilities
* Proven leadership and team management abilities
* Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Expertise in project governance and compliance
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to multi-task within a tight deadline environment.
Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality parameters.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
* Lead project teams effectively, providing direction, motivation, and performance management
* Support the management of project budget including cost control and financial reporting.
* Conduct stakeholder analysis and maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.
* Implement and maintain project governance frameworks and methodologies
* Lead project meetings and status update sessions
* Manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies
* Create and present project reports and presentations as may be required.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management framework
* Mentor junior project team members and contribute to building project management capability
* Perform other duties that may be assigned.
Resumption of Duty: Candidates must be available to commence employment immediately
Salary Range: R 20, 000.00 to R 25, 000.00 p.m. (CTC)
Status of Position: Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2026
