Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and versatile chef who enjoys working across multiple kitchen sections. This role requires someone who is organised, hardworking, and able to maintain high culinary standards while working in a lodge environment.
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie
* Experience working in a luxury lodge or hospitality environment would be advantageous
* Solid all-round cooking skills with the ability to work across hot kitchen, cold kitchen, and pastry sections
* Strong understanding of food preparation, presentation, and portion control
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen cleanliness
* Good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
* Ability to work well within a small and close-knit kitchen team
* Passion for food and creating memorable dining experiences for guests
Candidate Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in preparing and presenting high-quality meals for lodge guests
* Work across various kitchen sections when required
* Ensure food is prepared according to the lodge’s standards and recipes
* Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
* Assist with stock control, ingredient preparation, and kitchen organisation
* Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes
* Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
* Contribute ideas and creativity to menu development when required
