Job Summary
About the roleWe are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Customer Care Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating clearly, and creating a great customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring clients feel valued and supported throughout their journey.
Responsibilities:
* Respond to customer inquiries via WhatsApp, phone, email, and social media.
* Assist customers with product/service information and pricing.
* Capture customer details accurately (name, contact info, requirements).
* Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
* Follow up with customers on quotes, orders, and feedback.
* Maintain a positive and helpful attitude in all interactions.
* Work closely with the sales and production teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Keep records of customer interactions and update systems.
Minimum Requirements
* South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
* Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
* Matric.
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet).
* Good communication skills (English required; additional languages are a plus).
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
