Employer: RPO Recruitment RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable electrical engineering consulting firm based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking to appoint a skilled Electrical BIM Modeller to join their growing design team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality electrical building services models and coordinated construction documentation across a range of projects. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM models using Revit and related software * Produce coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings for electrical building services * Work closely with engineers to translate design intent into accurate modelling outputs * Coordinate electrical services with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural) * Ensure compliance with project standards, BIM execution plans, and company modelling protocols * Assist with clash detection and resolution using BIM coordination tools * Update models in line with design revisions and project progress * Prepare documentation, schedules, and model extracts for construction and tender purposes * Support digital delivery processes and BIM workflow improvements within the team Requirements: * Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering Drafting, BIM, or related field * +-5 years’ experience in BIM modelling within building services (electrical preferred) * Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (electrical discipline essential) * Experience with Navisworks or similar coordination/clash detection tools advantageous * Understanding of electrical building services systems (lighting, power, small power, etc.) * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and design information accurately Benefits: Salary:  Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications Contact RPO Recruitment for our next career opportunity. * Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience. * Apply for this role today, contact Meghan du Plessis and Riana Hattingh at RPO Recruitment or on LinkedIn * You can also visit the RPO Recruitment website: rporecruitment.us or email us your CV: Engineers@rpo-recruit.za.com We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
