This position is suited to an energetic, proactive, and hands-on individual with good people management and communication skills, looking to grow with the business. Key Responsibilities include: \*Production unit management (from planting through to harvest, including irrigation, fertilisation, spraying) \*Overall planning and coordination of production activities, working closely with the Estate Manager \*Monitoring production and orchard performance \*Workforce management \*Assisting with implementation of budgets and cost control measure \*Ensuring compliance with required standards and certifications \*Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions \*All other tasks related to this role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or a related field; • 3–5 years’ experience in fruit production (pome fruit advantageous); • Good understanding of orchard practices and production processes; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English).
