Confidently leading a team and managing the end-to-end finance function Key Responsibilities: Finance Leadership & Team Management * Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. * Ensure a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. * Allocate responsibilities effectively and ensure consistent delivery against deadlines. * Build and structure a scalable finance function aligned to rapid business growth. End-to-End Financial Management * Take full ownership of the finance function across the business. * Oversee monthly management accounts and financial reporting. * Drive budgeting, forecasting, and multi-entity variance analysis. * Ensure strong internal controls, governance and financial accuracy. * Guarantee the integrity, completeness, and timelines of all financial information. Strategic Finance & Commercial Business Partnering * Drive scenario modelling and forward-looking strategic analysis. * Prepare and present board-level reporting and financial insights. * Identify financial risks, growth opportunities, and key performance trends. Tax, Compliance & Structuring * Oversee tax compliance, including Income Tax, VAT, PAYE and statutory submissions. * Design and manage tax structuring that supports scalable growth. * Manage audit processes and relationships with external auditors. Financial Reporting, Systems & Automation * Own management accounts, reporting frameworks, and board packs. * Drive real-time financial visibility to support executive decision-making. * Evaluate and implement appropriate finance systems, tools, and controls. * Strengthen data-driven reporting and analytical capabilities.
