Employer: Ntice Search The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in a production management role, specifically within the FMCG sector Proficiency in isiZulu is advantageous, as is experience managing large teams and working with machine-related operations Experience in a food production environment is highly desirable Responsibilities * Minimum of 7 years of experience in a production management role within the FMCG industry * Tertiary qualifications in production management * HACCP / FSSC / ISO 22000 * Demonstrated experience in managing a team of 100+ staff * Experience working with machine-related operations is essential * Previous experience in a food production environment is highly preferable * Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards * Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills * Strong leadership and team management abilities * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines * Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met * Lead, mentor, and manage a team of over 100 staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment * Develop and implement production schedules and processes to meet company objectives * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies * Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives * Coordinate with other departments (e.g., quality control, maintenance, logistics) to ensure smooth operations * Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to production machinery and equipment * Manage budgets and optimize costs without compromising on quality * Prepare and present regular reports on production performance to senior management
