Our client, a leading national supplier of innovative, eco-conscious packaging solutions for the food and beverage industry, is looking to appoint a dynamic Sales Representative to join their growing Cape Town team.
The ideal candidate is energetic, commercially astute, and confident engaging with clients in a fast-paced environment. This role suits someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and delivering exceptional service while helping clients bring their brand to life through thoughtful, sustainable packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities include: \*Manage and grow sales in the Cape Town region \*Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies, with a focus on onboarding new clients \*Identify and research innovative lead generation opportunities \*Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients \*Communicate effectively with clients regarding pricing, product options, and stock availability \*Represent the company brand professionally \*Maintain accurate sales administration, including invoicing, credit notes, and document uploads \*Utilise internal systems to manage and process sales information \*All other tasks related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric required;
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role sales or client-facing role;
• Proven experience working with systems such as Unleashed, Xero and Hubspot;
• Experience in packaging, FMCG, food service supply, or B2B distribution would be preferrable;
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally.
