Employer: Persona Staff Our client, a Cape Town-based manufacturer specialising in the design and production of premium stainless steel wire products, is seeking a creative and technically skilled Industrial Designer to join their growing team. Responsibilities: * Conceptualise and develop new stainless steel wire product designs based on market and customer requirements * Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks * Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective for production * Assist with prototyping, testing, and refining product designs to improve functionality and durability * Design product packaging concepts and layouts aligned with brand identity * Create visual assets and product imagery for catalogues, website, and social media platforms * Assist in managing and updating the company’s social media presence, showcasing products and new developments * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure products are presented professionally across all marketing channels * Support the development of product documentation and marketing material * Contribute ideas for new product innovations and improvements Requirements: * Degree or Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Mechanical Engineering * Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (essential) * Experience with CorelDRAW or similar graphic design software * Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and product development * Ability to translate design concepts into functional, manufacturable products * Interest in branding, packaging design, and digital marketing To apply, please send your CV with your salary expectations to hannah@personastaff.co.za   Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
