Overview:
An established company in Cape Town is seeking to employ a full time Social & Digital Media Administrator to join their marketing team.
Our marketing department is seeking a talented and motivated Social & Digital Media Administrator that will internalise and manage the digital marketing and social media functions, while supporting the broader digital marketing needs of the Company.
This role is execution-focused, requiring strong coordination and optimisation of digital channels under the strategic guidance of the Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Administration (Primary Function)
+ Manage and maintain social media accounts for:
+ Henchem
+ NoMor
+ Schedule, publish, and optimise content across platforms (Meta proficiency required)
+ Create and manage monthly content calendars
+ Monitor and report on:
+ Engagement
+ Trends
+ Performance and ad metrics
+ Community management:
+ Respond to comments and direct messages
+ Escalate queries where required
Paid & Sponsored Advertising (Meta):
+ Assist with the setup and management of Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
+ Boost posts and manage basic paid advertising campaigns
+ Monitor ad performance and optimise budgets
+ Compile basic performance reports and statistics
Email Marketing:
+ Distribute client email campaigns for:
+ Promotions
+ Marketing campaigns
+ Product updates
+ Training and events
+ Maintain and manage mailing lists and audience segmentation
+ Track and report on open rates, click-through rates, and engagement
Website & Online Store Support:
+ Perform basic website updates (no development or programming qualification required), including:
+ Product updates
+ Content changes
+ Banner swaps
+ Assist with online store content updates when required
Digital Marketing Support:
+ Support overall digital marketing initiatives across Industries
+ Assist with campaign rollouts and launches
+ Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms
+ Liaise with internal teams to gather content and relevant information
