Employer: Sentraal-Suid Co-operative Ltd DescriptionPSP Feeds, part of the SSK Group, currently has a career opportunity at its Animal Feed Manufacturing Plant in Humansdorp. The successful candidate will travel with delivery trucks to farms and will be responsible for operating bulk auger trailers and safely offloading animal feed at customer sites. The candidate must be physically fit, reliable, able to work independently, and capable of working in varying outdoor environments. Responsibilities * Travelling with delivery trucks to customer farms. * Operating bulk auger trailer systems to offload feed into silos. * Ensuring correct feed types are delivered and offloaded according to delivery documentation. * Monitoring the auger system during offloading to ensure safe and efficient operation. * Assisting the driver with positioning vehicles at farm delivery points. * Ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained after deliveries. * Reporting equipment faults or delivery issues to management. * Maintaining high standards of food safety and contamination prevention during deliveries. * Assisting with loading, unloading and general operational duties when required. * Maintaining good housekeeping of trailers, equipment and loading areas. * Adhering to all safety procedures and risk management standards. Requirements * The ideal candidate must have a Matric (Grade 12) qualification. * A valid Code 14 driver’s license with PDP will be advantageous. * Good customer interaction, responsibility and the ability to work long hours in field conditions.
