Employer: West Coast Personnel The successful candidate will create and manage fire sprinkler system drawings, ensure ASIB compliance, lead the draughting team, and coordinate projects with engineers and managers. \*Requires advanced CAD skills, ASIB certification, and fire protection drafting experience. Key Responsibilities: * Produce accurate fire sprinkler layouts using AutoCAD or Revit * Be the authority on design drawings and specifications * Ensure all drawings comply with ASIB (SANS 10287:2010) and FM Global standards * Establish and maintain drafting standards and quality control processes * Allocate resources and manage draughting team projects * Oversee documentation for ASIB inspections and clearance certification * Serve as liaison between the draughting department and other teams Requirements: * Relevant tertiary qualification + Advanced CAD certification * ASIB Competency Certificate (Essential) * Professional registration or certification (preferred) * 8+ years drafting experience in fire protection or related field * 3–5 years in a management or supervisory role * Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, hydraulic calculations, and international fire protection standards * Excellent project coordination, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
