Job Summary
Requirements:
* Grade 12 / NQF4
* Valid driver’s license
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in stock control / stores environment
* Experience within manufacturing or FMCG (food production preferred)
* Strong SAP Material Management experience (non-negotiable)
* Knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and material handling
* Basic understanding of engineering or technical parts (advantageous)
* Strong administration, organisational, and time management skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and control engineering and production stock (spares, consumables, parts)
* Ensure accurate stock capturing and reporting on SAP
* Issue stock to production teams and ensure availability of critical items
* Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering through procurement
* Conduct cycle counts and stock audits (weekly, monthly, annual)
* Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement tracking
* Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and critical stock items
* Ensure stock shortages do not impact production operations
* Liaise with internal teams including maintenance, procurement, and production
* Assist with cost control, stock analysis, and reporting
