Reporting to the Demand Planner – Sales and Customer Care Lead.
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Demand Planner to join our team in the fast-paced FMCG paper manufacturing sector. This role is central to driving accurate demand forecasting, strengthening collaboration across departments, and ensuring our business remains both customer-centric and aligned with internal production capabilities.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
* Analyse historical sales data, demand trends, and customer buying patterns.
* Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across multiple product categories with strategy that ensures optimal operational results.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders including sales, production, and supply chain teams to align demand and supply.
* Provide regular reporting and insights on demand fluctuations, risks, and opportunities.
* Support the implementation of a customer-first culture while ensuring operational efficiency within production planning.
* Highlight gaps between forecast and actual demand and recommend corrective actions.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within demand planning and S&OP processes.
Note: Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned, aligned but not limited to the position as and when required

* Internal: Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager, Operations Managers, Production Planners, Warehouse Team, Procurement Department, Logistics/Dispatch Team, Finance, Sales.
* External: Customers, Consultants, Distributors and Suppliers.
