Our client, based in Paarl, is seeking a dedicated individual with strong leadership capabilities and excellent commercial knowledge to join their team as Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager will report to the General Manager, and be responsible for managing the entire Sales team and process to drive revenue growth, maximizing sales opportunities and developing business in new and existing markets.
Key areas of responsibility will include: \*Creating and executing a strategic sales plan \*Managing the sales team, setting objectives, training, coaching, and monitoring performance \*Driving achievement of sales targets \*Ensuring the development of new business relationships & client retention \*Maintaining compliance with internal business processes \*Overseeing weekly activity reporting with the entire sales team \*Providing market and industry-specific solutions to clients \*All other duties related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• At least 10 years’ experience managing sales in a corporate setting, in the label printing/alcoholic beverages/packaging industries;
• Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing;
• A relevant degree and further postgraduate studies will be highly advantageous;
• Excellent interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English);
• Good computer literacy (MS Office, specifically Excel);
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
