Engineering - Engineering Management South Africa CONTRACT Job Summary Qualifications * Trade Test Certificate (Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic / Millwright / Auto Electrician) * Recognised technical qualification relevant to heavy mining equipment Experience * Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working on trackless mining equipment in underground mining environments * Proven experience with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical fault-finding * Exposure to OEM underground mining equipment is essential * International site experience (Africa / Asia) advantageous Skills & Competencies * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability * Sound understanding of underground mining operations * Ability to work independently under pressure in remote site conditions * High attention to detail and quality workmanship * Strong safety awareness and risk management capability * Effective communication skills (verbal and written) * Willingness to work shifts, extended hours, and rotational rosters Physical & Environmental Requirements * Medically fit for underground mining environments * Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in challenging conditions * Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required Additional Requirements * Valid driver’s licence * Passport (for international assignments) * Ability to obtain medical clearance, work permits, and site inductions * Clean disciplinary and safety record Bilnor Staffing Solutions Recruiter
