IT/Computer - Other IT/Computer Pretoria FULL TIME Job Summary Job title: System Integrator Location: Pretoria Job Overview Seeking a System Integrator to join the engineering team. The role involves programming PLC and SCADA systems for new projects and providing support to the O&M team for existing PLC programs. Key Responsibilities: • Design system architecture and industrial communication networks (Ethernet, Fibre, Profinet). • Develop functional descriptions, PLC programs, SCADA/HMI applications, and simulation tools. • Conduct FAT & SAT testing, commission systems on-site, and ensure optimal functionality. • Provide technical training and ongoing support to internal teams and clients. • Configure servers, historians, VSDs, and instrumentation. • Support O&M teams remotely and through site visits. • Work with IoT architectures and read electrical schematics. Qualifications: • N Diploma / B.Tech / B.Eng in Computer or Electrical Engineering. • Valid driver's license & passport (travel required). Experience: • 3-5 years' experience in PLC & SCADA programming. • Advanced Siemens S7 & TIA Portal skills. • SCADA experience (Ignition, Adroit, Wonderware, WinCC). • Strong network configuration skills (essential). • Willingness to travel locally & internationally. Skills & Competencies: • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability. • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD. • Independent worker and strong team collaborator. • Excellent organisational and time-management skills. • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous learning.
