Job Summary
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bid Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term contract to provide maternity relief. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring proposals are accurate, compliant, and delivered within deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator with tendering experience to gain exposure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements
* Grade 12 / Matric.
* Residing in Centurion or surrounding areas.
* 1–3 years’ experience in bid administration, proposal management, or a related role.
* Strong understanding of the tendering process.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Experience with document management and collaboration platforms.
* Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end bid and proposal process from initial review to submission.
* Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, operations) and external stakeholders to gather and consolidate information.
* Compile technical information, reports, and marketing materials for proposals.
* Maintain and update a comprehensive bid library with version control.
* Track progress, deadlines, and deliverables, providing regular updates to management.
* Ensure all bids meet compliance requirements, company standards, and best practices.
* Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants to support smooth bid execution.
